Arrival at Djerba Zarzis International Airport. Reception and transfer to the hotel in Houmt Souk, La Maison d'hôte Dar Michele, an unusual and special place with striking Djerbienne architecture and decoration. Check-in. Traditional regional dinner is scheduled for the evening.

Welcome to Djerba

After a traditional breakfast, you leave at 8:30 am with Lella, the cook of Dar Michele, and our guide to the Houmt Souk Central Market (12 min on foot) to discover the auction sales of fish and the varieties of fruits and vegetables from the region, do the shopping for lunch meals preparation. You then visit the Artisanal Village of Houmt Souk (5 min on foot), where you can discover: The Tunisian brand Alsefri that sells products from the Djerbienne culinary heritage, an opportunity to taste local products. As well as Mr. Riadh BEN TAHER's workshop to discover traditional weaving techniques in the making of Djerbian clothes. You visit Mr. Ammar Chahbani's doormat manufacturing workshop. After a free time for shopping or coffee break at Café Ben Yedder Houmt Souk, you make a pedestrian visit to the Turkish Mosque passing through Saint-Joseph Church in Djerba. At 11:30 am, return to Dar Michèle to participate in a culinary workshop, preparing delicious traditional Djerbian dishes, perfect for lunch. On the menu, fish couscous or Djerbian rice as main dishes, according to your preferences. After lunch At 2:30 pm, you visit the Traditional Heritage Museum of Djerba. At 3:00 pm, you go to Sedghiane at the traditional oil mill, ELBORGI by carriage, passing through olive groves, Bessi walagh Djerba mosque, Houch El Guechai, you have the opportunity to participate in olive picking. You can discover the oil production process and taste. You then go back to the marina by carriage, to enjoy the sunset and then return to Michele's. Special Djerbian dinner and folkloric evening.

Exploration of Djerba "Homet souk"

After a traditional breakfast. 6.7 km from Houmt Souk at 8:30 am, you depart by minibus to Djerba Hood. You visit the Ghriba Synagogue built in the 3rd century BC. At 9:30 am, you then leave for Guellala to visit the Guellala museum, renowned for its collection of pottery highlighting culinary pottery. Participate in a pottery workshop. You then continue to Midoun and visit the Fadhloun Mosque built in the 14th century on the way. Traditional Djerbian lunch is scheduled at Restaurant Lella Hadhria. After lunch At 2 pm, you have free time to take a discovery ride on horseback or camel in the lagoon and end up with a YOGA session at the Djerba kite adventure by the seaside. After sunset, you return to Michele's for dinner.

Exploration of Djerba and its treasures "Guellala and Midoun"

After a traditional breakfast at 8:30 am, you depart from Djerba to Tataouine on the Roman road by bus, passing by the salt lake near Khalfallah. You then continue your journey to the center of Tataouine "El Rahba" and arrive at 10:30 am. You can visit the town market and see the varieties of vegetables and fruits and the spices of the region. As well as the traditional tobacco artisans "Nafa" near the old synagogue of Tataouine. The traditional clothing artisans, the traditional Balgha workshop. Taste the horn of gazelle and small cakes of Tataouine at the patisserie l'Ounissi. You also have the opportunity to shop at the market. You then continue your journey at 11:30 am to Ksar Ouled Sultane and visit one of the oldest Arab mountain ksour in Dahar. You then leave for Ksar Ouled Dabeb. After checking in.

TATAOUINE, KSAR OULED SOLTANE, KSAR OULED DABEB, AND DUIRET

After a traditional breakfast at the lodge at 8:30 am, You go on a hiking or donkey-back ride with a village shepherd passing through the "Jessour" plots for a fossil-hunting competition. You then climb the mountain to discover the Seven Sleepers Mosque and Chenini's natural water source with the possibility of taking natural clay and some mountain plants (rosemary, za'atar) to be used for lunch. You then leave for Chenini. At 2:00 pm, you arrive at Chenini and have lunch at the Troglodyte Berber Kenza's guest table and participate in a traditional meal. You then discover the town of Chenini and taste the organic virgin olive oil in the old village oil mills. Take the opportunity to enjoy almond tea or Arabic coffee on top of Chenini's town while admiring the mountain panorama and enjoying the sunset. You also have the opportunity to visit the ancient Akarit olive tree (900 years old and the largest in Africa). At 6:00 pm, you arrive at Duiret by bus for dinner and evening.

HIKE FROM DUIRET TO SEVEN SLEEPERS AND CHENINI

After breakfast at the hotel, you leave at 8:30 am for the Memory Earth Museum. Passing through Ksar El Ferch, you then continue to Ghomrassen and participate in a culinary workshop to prepare Fatayer at 10 am. You will also discover the rock painting of the In Sifiri cave. You then continue your journey to Ksar Hadada. In partnership with our local guide Mr. Amor Ghrab from ASPG. At 11:30 am, you visit the Star Wars shooting location and participate in a geological tour of the ksar by bike (1 hour) to discover the Oued Zaafrane canyon and Miter These reefs, which constitute a massive limestone bar that covers the Jurassic cliff and forms a remarkable cuesta. At 1 pm, you then have a traditional lunch in Guermassa. You then go out to visit Ksar Guermassa and discover one of the oldest Berber citadels in Dahar. You then continue your journey to Ksar Ghilane (distance of 2 hours/90 km). You arrive at 5:20 pm for check-in at the camp. You then spend the sunset, participate in the preparation of al mellah bread, dine, and attend a folkloric evening.

GHOMRASSEN, KSAR HADADA, GUERMASSA, KSAR GHILANE OASIS

You wake up early for a sunrise yoga session. After breakfast at the camp, you take a walk in the heart of the oasis at 9:00 am and enjoy swimming in the water where the hot water spring arrives, with a temperature between 36 and 45°C. You then spend the rest of the day riding camels in the heart of the Sahara in traditional dress to visit the Tisavar Roman fort ruins and enjoy a yoga session among the sand dunes at sunset. You then return to the camp where you have the opportunity to take a hammam and a massage. Traditional dinner and khobez el mêlaa preparation evening are scheduled for the evening.

Ksar Ghilane Oasis in the middle of the desert

After breakfast at Dar Toujane. You leave for Tamazert and arrive at the Berber Museum of Tamezret at 10:15 am and discover the unusual village. You then depart to discover the Salah Ben Issa oil mill at 11:00 am for tasting. Then you have lunch at Star Wars site in Dar Sidi Idris at 12:00 pm. At 1:30 pm, you visit the Matmata troglodyte houses. You then leave for Toujane to discover the village and experience traditional weaving and Berber clothing workshops with Adrar Toujane. You can also confront the inhabitants of the Berber village, discover their tradition and play the famous Kharbga game, as well as explore the shops of artisanal clothing and carpets (klim and margoum). You spend the sunset and leave for Dar Toujane for check-in, dinner, and an unforgettable folkloric evening.

Tamazrat, Matmata, and Toujane

You wake up early for a sunrise yoga session. You have a traditional breakfast at Dar Toujane. You leave for Djerba by passing through Jorf to take the "El batah" ferry and take the opportunity to go on a sea ride between Jorf and Djerba. You settle in the 4* hotel and enjoy your free day. Dinner at the hotel.

Return to Djerba

You have your breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Djerba Zarzis International Airport to go back home.
